"I was helpping a friend move when I saw an old Ovation case sitting in the corner of the garage. I opened it up and the was an Old 1981 Glen Campbell Model sunburst 12 string. No strings on it, cracks in the finish, and missing 1 of 12 pearl peg heads. He said he got it from a guy he met while touring in the North East. He said he'd never have a chance to fix it so he gave it to me.
I strung it up and it sounds great! Probably only worth $200 but I don't care."
Why can't something like this happen to me???? I'd say he's a pretty lucky guy! No picture, but still thought everyone would like to know that sometimes good things do happen to those who wait. |
