Love Song For Bobby Lee
Independent film starring Scarlett Johansson and John Travolta, takes place in Loosyanna and revovles around an abandoned young women and an eccentric professor of literature. Enjoyable movie, but I found myself waiting for the next song because I was enjoying the soundtrack so much...
Haven't enjoyed a soundtrack so much since 'O Brother Were Art Thou'. |

Written by Grason Capps. Check out his web site for all the details. We've been through this before but it's worth a redo.
I just saw Grayson a month ago and he's great in person.
One funny thing he told us was that for the movie he had 5 tunes written well ahead. They told him he needed to write a tune and had two weeks to do it. It was to be called Lorraine's song and it was for the end of the movie where Bobby Long dances with Scarlette. Grayson said "I got to write a tune for Travolta to dance to?(thinking Stayin Alive, Stayin Alive....) FACK!!!!!!" Then he remembered that Bobby long was an old alcoholic with a broken toe. Oh, no problem then. |

Maybe you planted a seed in my brain before-- and now having seen the movie just a month or so ago... and I couldn't stop thinking about the sound track...
What was Grayson worried about? - Travolta can dance to anything
(D'ya think there might be a cause/effect behind the Reso questions??) |

Location: Bluffton, SC | I'm a bit torn between the ladies. Both Debra and Judith have game. Debra, with the grooves (no question, she's got plenty) and the voice but Judith's voice just mesmorizes me. Oh and she's not too tough to look at either. Highly recommended to anybody who loves to see a great minimalist show - hair, pyrotechnics and screams that only dogs can pick up are great too but this show is all about raw talent. And for those not quite sure what JW and I are referring to see here . |

GREAT DVD!!!!
I'd read a review of it when it first came out, and MasterJeffrey sent me a copy as a barter for designing his company logo . . .
All this discussion makes me wanna watch it again, but I loaned it to a close friend when she stayed with us during her move to FL. I'll get it back in March. |
