Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I'm such a sucker for flame maple, particularly in the vintage orange burst. The Viper six string on the right was recently joined by the matching custom ordered 12 string model on the left, thanks to the good folks at the factory and Al. Until you've had an opportunity to perform with a Viper, I don't think it is possible to appreciate their value. It remains one of Glen Campbell's three stage guitars and I sure understand why. The 12 string arrived last Friday and I inspected it very closely from head to toe. She's perfect. No quality issues whatsoever, and although the flame is a little less bold than on the 6, it is still a near perfect match. She plays effortlessly, exactly what I wanted for those few rare occasions when I need 12 strings. These are keepers.

The Viper is one model I've never had the pleasure to own. Yours sure are nice looking.
Do anyone know the future prospects of the Viper? Will it co-exist along with the VXT?

I know of at least one bandroom where it will. |
