Value of Adamas 1688

Could anybody help me whether or not this would be a good price? Should I buy it? I can not find too many 1688 offered and the old ads seem all much more expensive. But I am a bit clueless.... Would that make a difference? I do wonder why I find relatively little about the 1688....
