| One of the pics I haven't been able to upload shows the neck dismounted... and the date is stamped on it, along with the handwritten name of the luthier (I think) who put it all together.
The "mid-depth bowl contour" is where I apparently mis-understood the 2007 Ovation catalog entry. (Another pic I haven't been able to upload.) There's a "Deep Contour" and a "Mid-Depth C/A" (applicable here) but I could never find out what C/A meant. No key to that, in the catalog. Thanks for the correction! (And what does C/A stand for?)
The same catalog page has a picture of a 6-string 1777LX-TPB alongside the Legend info... and that TPB looks exactly like what's on mine. The 1777LX info line only says Natural and Black colors, no TPB despite the picture. The available finishes for the 6756LX are shown as Natural, Black, and Amber Burst. No TPB option... so I dunno exactly what to make of all that.

| Cutaway! Got it, thanks!
Yes, that's the catalog. Pages 12 and 13. I have a copy of a 2009 catalog, too; shows a 2077LX-TPB on pages 12/13... but not much about any 12-string models. Some other "red" colors on some models too (CCB, RR), all obviously NOT TPB.
I know 2005 models might have been different, just never have been able to find 2005 info... but in the meantime, have never seen a TPB 6756LX advertised anywhere in the secondary market... so I only speculate...
