Location: Southern California | Hello there, just found this forum. I have played guitar off & on for many years, since I was a little kid (am now about to turn 35).
I have an Ovation Celebrity CC68 that I traded an applause guitar for several years ago. Is there any way I can find out what year it was made? I have the serial number as well, I thought perhaps that could tell me what year it was made/sold.
I am also curious as to what the name of the color of it is. (I will try to get a pic posted) |

Records on the Pacific Rim manufactured units are poor and narrowing down the production year is difficult. No "list" exists.
Hmm, 1972... that's the year I moved from Massachusetts to Wa and was informed that the letter "R" (aahh) was not a vowel. |
