Hi everyone. New kid on the block and new to ovations. Always was fascinated by them and finally took the plunge and bought not one but two, a CS257 & CS24. Wasn't really sure what I was buying or what to look for. I bought the CS24 first and was really amazed by the sound and playability. Shortly afterwards I found a pretty rough CS267 and bought it. Did some rejuvenating and also pretty pleased. Has some finish cracks but nothing serious.

Really like the small neck on the 267 but the unplugged sound of the 24 mid-bowl. Can anyone tell me if there is a model out there with the mid-bowl and the small neck of the CS267. I'm 73 and getting arthritis in my hands so find bar chords getting tough. The small neck helps vs my old dreadnaught.

I just found an CE44 on line at a goof price. Would the Elites have the small neck?

Thanks everyone for your help.

Most Ovation nut widths are 1 11/16 inches. (but some are wider)
The depth of the neck may vary.
So are V shaped, some are C shaped.

Anyway, only a few people can respond in the Welcome Center...
So I have "upgraded" you so that you may post in other section and get more responses.
Welcome.

No, you did nothing wrong.... When you first arrive you can only post in the Welcome Center.
But only a few people can respond in the Welcome Center.
Basically this is to thin-out bots and spammers.
Once we guess that you are not a bot, then you get an "upgrade".
But still, only about 5 members can respond in the Welcome Center.
All members can respond in "General Posting" or "About my Guitar".
Now that you are a member, you can post elsewhere.
The Welcome Center is for total newbies.
