.... that Slipkid passed away. If you didn't know him, you should research him in the archives and read the Manifesto that guides this forum. If you knew him, hoist a glass of good scotch in his honor. He'd appreciate it......

I don't drink scotch, but I'll hoist a glass of wine or beer in his honor. What a great guy! Thanks for remembering, moody.

Auld Lang Syne. Truly, a remarkable guy. Measured by what he built. Cheers!

When I see most of the joining dates of fellow OFC posters I realize how junior of a member I still am. Though I never personally connected with him, I remember seeing Slipkid's posts and recall how he was often the focal point of many conversations and gatherings, and how much he was appreciated by the membership. So to those who knew him well and relished the friendships you had together, I extend my condolences for your loss.

I've got good memories of interactions with 'Kid. There were some lively times on this board then.

This was from the 2005 or 2006 Factory Gathering. It's Freddy and The Fishsticks. Brad is in the coconuts. He wore them well......

Ah yes.....Brad and his coconut brassiere. How I longed for a peek underneath.
He really WAS a nice guy, even to me. A voice of reason at times of chaos. Way too early for Scotch, but I raise my cup of coffee to him in his honor.

…and that may have helped to make it truly iconic, Cap’t. I can tell you, firsthand and without reservation, that Brad loved it. As did the rest of the Fishsticks and those lucky enough to be in attendance that year. I was and have that shot on my wall to memorialize it. Thank you!

There were many memorable photos posted of Brad, but the one that really stuck with me was one he posted of him standing next to his AMC Gremlin. That got us talking about cars and road trips and promises never kept. He wanted to recreate a trip he made out to Sun Valley and I promised to meet him there and meet him if I ever got to Michigan. I made it to Michigan once, but we weren't able to get together then. He never made it out to Idaho. I hope he was able to fulfill all his other dreams. We say "some other time" too much.

Not positive on the year, Paul, but ‘07 would be pretty close if not dead on. Great times.

Brad recently sent me a picture of himself from Heaven. The air is a little thinner up there, so you gotta wear a space helmet (of sorts). But overall it looks like he's doing pretty OK ...

16 years ago...... I had been off with Budny getting a beater Celeb from his office to be used to kick around. I got back and was told that I needed to get to the restroom, where I found the other guys getting changed. I was handed a grass skirt and lai and we headed out. Really fun times......

It's always fun to go into random restrooms and have guys pick out things for you to wear....

Mike Nesmith once said that he liked to pack for a trip when he was drunk. That way when he arrived and opened his suitcase it was like Xmas morning.....

That’s funny, I just mentioned to a friend yesterday that one advantage of those “senior moment” memory lapses is that getting an Amazon package is like Christmas morning. ;-)
