| Hi everyone - first post here.
I've just picked up an older Ovation 1639 - found it in a thrift store for $12.00 !
It's in pretty rough shape, but I think it's salvageable.
Unfortunately, one of the tuning heads is broken, and these are out of production now. I believe they are Schaller tuners, from what I've been able to research.
These ones in particular are in the black plastic casing, with the "b" or "flat" symbol on the back.
Just a shot in the dark here, but does anyone know of any that may exist, or does anyone have some they'd be willing to sell. The broken one is the Low E.
Or, failing that, does anyone have any suggestions for newer machine heads that would fit? I'd rather not have to drill new holes if necessary.
If I can figure out how, I'll attach some pics.
