Hi all,

I am a long-time Ovation player; in fact, I got my first Balladeer in about 1972ish. I still love that guitar and play it almost daily. Today I purchased an Ultra Series 1527 from a guy in Facebook Marketplace and noticed that the volume/tone control is a bit loose. And the box that they connect to on the inside of the guitar turns when I turn the knob. How can I remove the volume/tone control knob to tighten things up a bit? (I have the strings off already.)

Thanks in advance, and thanks for accepting me into the group!!!

Don't spin it around.
The knob is held on with a tiny hex screw.
Under that knob is a hex nut around the "shaft" that holds the body of the preamp in in place.
You will need to tighten that nut around the volume shaft to hold it in.

Either single knob, or stacked knob, the knobs have tiny screws.
Hex I guess, but I have used a little torx driver.

Meanwhile... I have loosed your chains, you may now post elsewhere on the site.
