Long time player new member

I have been an Ovation player since my wife (future wife at the time) purchased me my first Ovation - a 1112 Custom Balladeer in 1974. That’s all it took we were married in Jan 1975 and have been since. I also have a collector’s 1994 and a celebrity cc057. Which brings me to the next point, I’m looking at getting my first Adamas but there are so many choices..... I use the others guitars on a weekly basis at church and they look as good as the day I got them. Not looking at the Adamas for regular traveling or playing on the road but more to play at home and as a collector type guitar. I saw a 1681-7 Adamas II for a decent price but was wondering what everyone thought about this as a keepsake to pass down to a grandchild some day? If this line of thinking works out with my wife I could be in luck! I have 14 Grandkids. That would really help the current Ovation collection to pass on... Thoughts on the 1681-7. It’s a 1981 Blue Burst? Thanks in advance. Everyone should have an Adamas. That is a guitar's Life. To be passed on. Adamas are good for that. Only a few members can respond in the Welcome Center. You have been upgraded...
