Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | I just got one of these as a freebie with 5 packs of D'Adarrio strings: Planet Waves SOS Tuner
It's no bigger than a triangle guitar pick and contains a miniature Strobe tunner...it works great! Check out StringsandBeyond.com for this deal.
Here is the website for this: Planet Waves SOS web page
Enjoy! |

Location: Scotland | They were giving away samples of these at NAMM. The concept is very simple and nothing new, it was patented in the early 70's. In fact Ovation had exactly the same thing, though somewhat larger in the mid/late 70's. I have the Ovation version, still works fine, and still has the original price sticker, which was almost $70! |

Location: Arizona | I got one of these with the 5-pack of strings a while back. I think it rocks! It's perfect for noisy environments, it's very accurate, and very quick to pick up and get a guitar tuned. The main downside is that it doesn't straightaway tell you which direction to tune, which makes the more capable tuners a bit nicer in that regard. |

It's south of New Pumpernickel mostly inland, but they do have a nice lake there Lake Salmon.
