Location: Alberta, Canada | This years runner up on Canadian Idol was a 17 year old from central Alberta, Jaydee Bixbey. I rarely have watched this show but was impressed with this young mans talent from the start, so followed the show through to the end. I was surprised to open my local newspaper and find this photo of him and his family band. It turns out the guy drumming, Terry Dortman, is from our town.
Anyway, Jaydee's guitar really caught my attention, and I thought some here might enjoy seeing what this up and coming star chooses to play! I beleive he played a Gibson on the show.
It was a treat to watch this young man rise to the number 2 position. He will be someone to watch as his career developes!

Canadian Idol runner up
