Location: GA USA | Man, I posted that back when the voting was going on. One of the judges was a guitarist for 38 Special and his comment was to learn to play guitar.
First prize was a Mexican Strat, and second prize was rehearsal time at a joint that rents rehearsal space. Since I didn't want to drive an hour to sit in a room all day and rehearse, I got nothing.
What really happened is that Adam and I stopped by GC on a labor day weekend and they were begging people to sign up. I did the video while he was playing guitars. |

Location: GA USA | Hadn't thought about that, Arthur. I should have just shown up with a Boston CD and done air guitar all day.
I had a big lead the first couple of days. You could only vote once per hour, but I figured out it was once per browser per hour per computer, and I had 10 computers in my little office, some with as many as three browsers, so I was racking up some votes in the daytime. The guy who won was a DJ on a popular college radio station, and he made huge surges at night. |
