Location: Indiana | I bought this from fellow OFCer, Tony Calman. Really fair price. With Damon and Darren's help... sent her into the mothership for a 51 (now 52) year spa treatment. Rosette needed replacing... drop-fill, spray and buff the top, neck. Check the structure, bracing, etc.. Darren and his small but mighty team are doing awesome work. She's not going to be a wall hanger. Plays like butter. Sounds like nothing other than an early Ovation boomer. I couldn't be happier.

Plus the winged bridge is just sexier. Gobs more Mojo. |

Having an '81 Custom Legend 12 and a '68 Balladeer 12 the sound difference is much more than subtle. For me the CL sounds are all coming from the soundole. The Balladeer it's the whole top radiating sound. Must be the smaller soundhole. BTW mine is serial A-322
