There are two old Breadwinners that I see for sale locally but for some reason both are missing the logo on the headstock. Both are black and I can't even see a trace of the logo.

There's also another one that looks like it had a few things swapped out but it still has the logo, though it looks pretty faded from the pictures.

They look pretty legit and have the serial numbers and a few other ovation etchings on them but is this a common occurrence? Strange to see it happen to the multiple on sale currently.

There used to be Ovation headstock stickers on eBay...
But, those are not there now.

You should buy the guitar, put on a Fender or Gibson logo, and resell it for 5x what you paid.
