| Hi Guys: I just came across an Ovation Standard Balladeer on a local buy sell website asking price of $300 Canadian... which I guess is now $300 US too ! Appears to be in good shape. I was wondering what the going rate is for these? Any guesses? |

| Bummer big time.. I saw the guitar and its perfect.. except for a cracked soundbourd, not just the finish ....all the way through.
I'm not sur how repairable a soundboard is, but Ive already got one guitar into the mothership and I'm still not over the fedex hassles on brokerage. Heres the link, the guy said he'd take $160.

I ain't gonna buy it, but if it was there I might buy it for the case. (and the guitar) If it sounded good, no rattle... I bought my cracked Beater 1112-1 after handling it. And it has assorted cracks. I have more Elmer's Wood Glue! |

| This guitar plays and sounds great, no rattles, but then again I didnt play it loud, just a battery powered amp to be sure the pickup worked.
Almost bought it for the case too! |
