Up for sale is my 1996 1768-7 LTD "Book Elite"

The guitar is in very good condition with only a couple of flaws.

There are a couple of dings in the top in the lower bass bout near the bridge. There are also three finish cracks in the lower bout. There is also a piece missing of the bass bout epaulet feathers.

The guitar comes with an 8158 case. (no key)

It also comes with the Limited Edition of Walter Carter's book, "The History of the Ovation Guitar."

Value of the book has been lowered substantially because someone defaced it when they scribbled something on the inside cover.

I installed a new set of Elixir Nanoweb Custom Light strings.

I have modified the guitar by replacing the OEM saddle with my fully-compensated saddle.

I also mounted a molly to the cut-away for the the upper strap button. I moved the strap button from this spot to the normal upper bass bout, but I left the molly in place in the cut-away.

Because of these modifications and the flaws, I'm lowering the asking price substantially.
