Hello all I m new here just found site. I have a Glenn Campbell 12 string been sitiing in the closet since the 70's. Since i'm about to retire I have decided to start playing it again. I did tune it and it's playability is poor. I'm thinking some new strings and tuning it one step lower may help any other suggestions

I use D'Addario EJ38 on my 1970-ish 1115-4.

I have another 1115 with really high action...
So I use Martin M200 Silk-n-Steel strings because of the lower tension.

I hope that this is helpful.
