Location: Waurika OK | Hi all. Been a long time since I posted, but I lurk fairly often.
A friend wanted me to build a cigar box guitar. He said he would send me a neck that he wanted on it.
The neck arrived and it turned out to be an old Martin neck. I knew right away it was not going on a cigar box!
Someone gave it to him when he was 19, he is now 75. Been in a shed since then. He never had the body.
Thankfully the neck block came with it. 1934 00018!
Only has 4 tuners, bar frets, all still there. Pretty rough shape, but someone who knew what they were doing could make it like new. Neck is still flat, not twisted.
Going to try and post some pics.
I can’t do the photo add, sorry
