I have just brought a 1979 Ovation custom Balladeer. Model 1112, so I think it's a custom. I don't believe the shop knew what they had as they listed it as a late eighties guitar with the electrics removed. Serial number dates it as 79 and the guitar has clearly never had any electrics installed. Apart from a tiny cosmetic repair on the top of the headstock it is in fantastic condition and plays and sounds wonderful.
I feel pretty lucky to have got this guitar so of course had to join the forum so it's hello from the UK.  |
