Location: GA USA | You'll know you have crossed over into GA when you see signs at gas stations that read "CLEAN, LUXURIOUS REST ROOMS".
As you go further south, you see signs that read 'CLEAN REST ROOMS", then "REST ROOMS".
When you get to south GA they read "PECANS". |

Location: NJ | It IS a prettier drive, but the only thing that I didn't like was dealing with the tractor/trailers in VA/PA late on Sunday nite after being on the road for 15 hours . . . |

Location: 6 String Ranch | Trucks aren't that bad, you just have to be faster than them. Much easier than dealing with the BS of 95. It is 40 miles longer and at 75mph that's abut a half an hour. How many times can you loose a half hour in NYC, Jersey turnpike, Balitmore, DC?
Plus 81 isn't as beat up as 95, although 95 south of DC isn't that bad. |

Actually I like Fla. a lot. My folks used to live there (Gods waiting room) and my sister settled there for about 20 years before moving last year a few states up the coast. I could live there.

So the the average age of the Fla. population has now taken a slight dip downwards. NICE! Aw, all of Florida ain't that bad! Here in Gainesville (a university town) the populations just over 200,000, with 50,000 of that students, and a good part of the rest young professionals. We get a few retirees moving here because they like the "youth culture" that comes with so many students, but most settle a bit further south in the Ocala-Orlando corridor.
Oh, and welcome back, Beal! |

Location: 6 String Ranch | You take 81 to mile marker 81 and take 77 south to 26 and that east to 95 which you pick up in South Carolina at mile marker 85. From there it's three hours.
Draw an imaginary line through Fla from just above Tampa and just above Mouseland (be sure to include the Villages) out to Daytona. South of there you probably have an age issue. North of there it's just south Georgia. |
