And the Cajon said to the Elite, "You complete me..."

After a 1.5 month stint away from home, my 1678av50-5 returned home to find her companion of a life time! The Elite said to the Cajon, "Let's make some music together!" Ahhh, a match made in heav... well, the cajon was actually made in Oxnard, CA; and the O in New Hartford, CT - so more like a East Coast meets West Coast kinda deal... no less beautiful I must say...

Thanks for letting me share!

Ken.. I like the way you personality your equipment. I do, too. And you might want to take care that Vincent doesn't see you coddling the others too much. You know how he's sensitive that way. Just do it in the other room. That way since he's deaf he won't know.

Congrats on a great pair, and good luck with playing both at the same time.

Thanks for the kind comments OFC! You all know how great the 1678av50 is, but I gotta tell ya this cajon by DW (mfg. by LP?) is amazing. Construction and craftsmanship are just immaculate. It's a simple, no frills instrument, but don't be fooled by its placid appearance (especially from the front), this cajon has depth and a whole slough of tonal ranges. Can't help but wonder how it would sound had they made the shell out of Lyrachord? Hmmm?! Thanks for the inspiration DW!
