A google search for "ovation forums" used to bring me here quickly, but as of today it's quite difficult find the OFC on google. What happened?

I just tried the same search.. Googled "ovation forums", and the OFC came up #1 and #2 on the result. I use Chrome, and tend to keep my browser history/cookies pretty cleaned up, and recently did a purge, so maybe that's the difference. Try clearing your browser history and cookies and maybe Google will return a different result. Or not. Google has a zillion of different user interface protocols.
