Location: Colorado | Technically it is not an elite - it is a Wood Topped Adamas Proto - yes - a deep contour bowl...lotsa folks around this neighborhood have gotten to play this one....I cannot tell you if any more were made....possible...I have just never seen one. A stunning example of the stellar stuff these guys can make. It has been heard in few shows over the years. |

Location: SoCal | Those were built during the Fender years? I always thought that they were good guitars, but they never quite knew what they were. Elites with an Adamas mounting ring (for a deeper bowl) and an Adamas bridge. Part Adamas, part Elite. Adalites? |

Location: Colorado | Paul you are correct - this one came out of the Fender era..this one is a real solid instrument - based on never having seen another, I am guessing this model never hit mass production. It was however one of the two instruments of choice at Damon's Pacific Northwest Gathering - featured on Pachebel's Canon in D, accompanied fabulously by Cavalier's violin solo - followed by Miles' rendition of Crazy Train!

Location: Utah | When they did the Road Show there were a bunch of "Wood Topped Adamas" models. Probably in 2009 or 2010? I recall those guitars all being superb, and the price was silly low. But I couldn't afford one at the time.
I don't remember there being a 12 string version at the event I went to. |

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA | Hello, Everyone,
I have older OVATION catalogs here, one being, ca., 1985?, with what was called a "Legend Elite", offered as both a 6 and 12-string, but only in black? It was a non-cutaway, wood-topped guitar. I think it was only offered one year, but I could be wrong.
