Bought a 1271 viper neck at the Tacoma guitar show Sunday.
It was lonely in a bucket of Ovation necks.
Needs a little TLC.

Unsure how to deal with a maple neck where there’s a scratch between frets.
Maybe more of a minor gouge......than a scratch.

Given the “industrial Ovation poly coating” is there a known clear filler that could be used?

I have seen guys work magic with super glue. Not sure if it would work in this case. Hopefully someone will chime in soon.

Yup, the cyano glue is the filler of choice.

Build it up and polish to suit.
