Location: Gardnerville, NV | I am considering a 12 string that joins the body at the 12th fret rather than the 14th. Is this something that will drastically affect my playing ability after playing 14 fret guitars for so long?
Thanks |

So if you play a lot up at the higher frets, that is something to consider.
12 fret guitars have the bridge in the center of the lower bout which makes them sound better*

Location: Gardnerville, NV | Thank you, Old Man Arthur. I don't play above the 12th anyway. I'm strictly an amateur, basic chord/rhythm player. |
