Ovations w/ acoustic effects processors

I've tried it with my 1527 6 string and 1866 12 string and am very pleased with the results. I like having an adjustable feedback notcher and built in chorus and reverb effects. Curious what other members have tried in live gigs or recording to enhance the piezo signal. The Op Pro Studio preamp also had an acoustic exciter function which sounded great on wood topped O's. I've never tried a separate exciter pedal though, and I no longer have that guitar with the Studio preamp. Sometimes a touch of chorus or reverb is good.
