I have just acquired, after a tragedy forced me to sell my last Ovation in 1975, a Custom Balladeer. I am trying to date it. It is a Model 1639 and the serial number is 209523. Most sites seem to skip over these numbers. And I'm very happy to find others as excited as I am about the unique and beautiful Ovation. Thanks.
