Hello everyone,

Thank you for welcoming me among you.
I'm French, I'm 33, and I've been playing guitar since the age of 13.
I love blues, rock'n roll, folk, country ...

I land here because a few days ago the father of my wife gave me a gift of his ovation guitar. He has not played guitar for many many years and he found it a pity to let this beauty sleep in his case.

This is a Pinnacle serie, made in Japan, model 371T. It has a beautiful flamed maple top, natural finish. No cutaway, and the back is deep. It is equipped with a FET-3 preamp that works perfectly, the tunings are golden. I don't remember the serial number, I will tell you later... If I'm right this guitar had been made between 1989 and 1993...?
When he gave it to me, we noticed that the bridge was unstuck. So I took him to a friend who is reparing guitars, and he fixed it easily.
Then I cleaned the fingerboard and the frets, I mounted a new set of strings, and made a small neck adjustment. Finally The guitar is perfect! Very easy to play. The unplugged sound is not bad, but a bit surprising when you are not used to this kind of guitar, but plugged into an amp ... ouahhhh! The sound is fantastic! I used it last week at a concert with friends, and with a little bit of reverb it was great.
I will post a few pictures later ...
Thanks for reading!
