After trying out a BUNCH of other brands/makers, I decided to try an Ovation.  My CE44-1 arrives next week.  I currently own a Guild D-140CE & OM-140CE in antique sunburst.  The last time I tried an Ovation was almost 40 years ago and, to be honest, I wasn't very impressed with the bowl concept or the sound.  But, I'm not stuck in the past and I feel the technology has probably improved greatly since then.  AND, I got a heckuva nice price on it!   If it's what all the reviews claim it to be, it will replace the Guild OM-140CE.  I'm hoping to learn a lot more here than what's online.  Lot's of info out there but mostly parroting what's put out by Ovation.
