Now, for image size, the OFC requires a small file size of 100k or less. The easiest way I've found for this is using the "save for web" feature of any recent version of Photoshop. You can adjust the quality slider and it will tell you the final size before you save. |

Location: GA USA | Under Member Access, click photo gallery. There is a Gallery utililty for uploading to you gallery.
A url "uniform resource locator" is just the address of something on the web.
You'll need to get your pictures onto the web in order to link to them from a message. Uploading to your gallery will do that. The url will be http://........
I uploaded a photo from zillafest that has the url http://www.ovationfanclub.com/photos/Captain_Lovehandles_20333_zfzi...
Try pasting that url into your browser's address bar. You should see this:
That http://etc will be what you paste into the form. |

Or you must upload them to the Member's photo gallery (100kb size limit) and then copy and paste the Url in UBB code in the reply window..or use the "Full Reply" utility to put it in UBB for your.
*AND*
ehem... "considered going out for a drink with jeff"... and ..."totally desparate"... I'm not getting the warm and fuzzy here, Pookie. |

Location: CT | Yes, you can put your own pix on, as long as they are somewhere on the web so you can copy the address. You can put pix in the gallery for all of us to enjoy, but you'll probably need to resize them (100 mb or less, so resolution will suffer) and there are instructions in there how to upload them.
I'm off to quit my job on your suggestion. Thanx, I've just been languishing here waiting for the proper kick in the ass.
I'm sure it's not the site, just the work computer(stop posting, I need to get back to work!). The boss likes us to use work computers for work (damn him!!), something about inapropriate usage, or dungeon porn or something, so we're not authorized to install software (including stupid stuff like the new quicktime plug-ins), so I get video and audio from YouTube, but not Myspace. Ugh... |

Location: Utah | photobucket.com is one of several online places where you can upload your photos. It is very easy to use. Just create an account, then click on upload. It walks you through finding photos on your computer, and then it uploads the ones you click on. After you've uploaded, each photo in your photobucket album can be linked to.
Same idea as putting them on the Ovation Fan Club user gallery, but you can have photos non-Ovation related without spending OFC bandwidth. |
