Location: Katmandu | The bone nut of my Legend L717 (1990) has come loose for some time now (it was only lightly attached before), and while it's overall not a massive problem, it's bothersome when changing strings all at the same time. What kind of glue would you recommend for fixated the nut at the headstock again? Thanks.

Yes. I used Elmer's carpenter glue and it's held for years. It's not bone, but I don't think that would make much difference. It doesn't take much to hold it. |

Location: Katmandu | Good point, I'll make sure to use it sparingly, just to fixate the nut a little in the middle. |

Location: Katmandu | It all went down well. I could also eliminate some sharp overtones on the high E string by slightly grazing the nut slot with a very fine needle, and I glued together a broken bar stool on the side as well. Gosh, I've always loved me some Titebond.
