Interesting indeed. When I was a kid in Utah my mom and I used to spray our willow tree with hot water (hose hooked to the water heater) and let the drips freeze and grow in length over a few consecutive days of spraying, and when the temps sustained below zero we could gently "strum" the tree with a small stick and it would sound like a wind chime. It makes a big difference in tone if the water is hot when it goes on.. so I am guessing that this guy starts out with hot water, too.

I never would have guess that the fiddle would have sounded like it did. I wish they featured more of the music :-(
