| Hi all.
My name is Julia and the Ovation Custom Legend Model #1658 (Serial #241743) with clear natural finish actually belongs to my older brother (he purchased it from a friend who was the original owner) and yes, I believe it's his first Ovation. I've been helping my brother downsize (aka selling of his in-home studio, including his instruments) to move into a condo. It's been really hard because I'm selling instruments that he's owned and loved for 20+ years (e.g. 1908 Steinway, Prophet 600, JD800, etc.). I worked in concert lighting* in Boston for 10 years, so although I'm not a musician, I can appreciate the love and bond between musician and instrument. So I am trying to be real careful in researching his Ovation and getting it to someone who will love and appreciate the Ovation as much as my brother.
I know this is my brother’s favorite guitar and in looking her over I do not see any scratches or ding on her (aka mint condition). I tried to take photos from all angles but if you’d like specific pictures, please let me know. Also, the Ovation is at my brother’s in the Minneapolis area but I’ll be driving to Florida this spring via Ohio, so if anyone interested in the Ovation is on this route, I can drop it otherwise I can ship it.
I’ve noticed the price of selling Customer Legends (model 1658) seem to rage from $1,250 to $1,700, so the asking price is $1,450 and comes with an Ovation hard case.
Thanks, Julia
* Lighting for Greg Brown, James Taylor, Taj Mahal, BB King, Liz Story, Tracy Chapman, Ronnie Gilbert, Meg, Linda Tillery, Elizabeth Cotten, etc. P.S. My apologies in advance if I'm not adding the photos correctly. |

Location: Canada | Wow, super bad timing on this for me. Two months ago In would have made an offer, but alas bought something else. I wonder if Detlef will be able to resist. Good luck.

| Wow, seeing all your positive comments this morning really made me smile. Are there any photos I missed that I should post (aka back of the neck, close ups, etc.)? Thanks again, Julia |
