Location: Colorado | Yes. Seriously thinking about selling the 1581 reissue I've had less than a week to get this. I'm sure this guitar won't last long at that price. It may have to keep me warm at night for a while though...SWMBO will not be pleased.

Beal, you're selling it too cheap.

Someone's getting the deal of the decade here--congrats! |

See photos of OFC II #6 that was up for sale a few years back here: http://ovationfanclub.com/megabbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=34865&start=1 As far as the gloss neck goes, I wasn't sure about the gloss neck on my 1581 reissue, but I'm really liking it so far. Anybody who wants to buy an Adamas now shouldn't pass on this rare, special guitar.

On a 1-3/4 nut neck like that, does it automatically require a larger radius than a 1-11/16? |

Location: Tidal Mudflats of Virginia | Brad, yes some days, but I was never quite happy with the narrow neck. Loved the sound and the construction was over the top. With the Idea Preamp, it was great to play and doddle on.
Of course, I still feel I ended up the better with the Ultra GP in that three way horse trade.

Location: Epworth, Yorkshire, England | Someone's bagged a bargain. Congratulations. I was lucky enough to buy #4 last year and it really is superb. The pictures of it from the O Gallery are great. I wasn't aware of them until I saw the link in this thread. Thanks BCam. Looks like the registration page for the 8 guitars is way out of date. It would be good to get this up to date for such a limited run of guitars, assuming the current owners are happy to disclose their identities of course! Ditto for other rare models. |
