I'm coming to London over Christmas/New Year and I'm going to meet up with Schroeder one evening between 16th Dec and New Year.
Clive's days are difficult to commit to and he's having some reno's done - so his home may not be the most comfortable venue. (Wouldn't bother me as we've been living in a building site for nearly 3 years  )
Anyone else interested in meeting up with us. Suggestions for warm, dry, welcoming venues are also sought.
I'm looking forward to it. :D |

| Bring one of your steels Paul - I've still got a very nice Roland amp and some neighbours I'd really like to piss off. Nothing carries like a lap steel...........
At the last count I have 187 bottles of wine in stock. Interested? Only 25 minutes from Victoria. |

Location: Sunshine State, Australia | Well, looks like Clive (Schroeder) isn't in a position to organise this. Anyone else in SE England got a suggestion? Schroeder should still be able to come, he's just not able to organise it. Temp may be in town around then too. So I may get to meet 2 of the OFC legends at the same time.
The best time for me would be the week immediately before Christmas. An evening would probably be best for most attendees - I'll be on holidays, so I'm flexible - day or evening.
Other possible dates would be between Christmas and New Year or possibly mid January
Oh, and Andrea - the more the merrier. By all means come along. We'll need someone to clean up after us. ONLY JOKING!! :D |

| There you go again - a real oz would never apologise for that remark because it would never occur to him that it was out of order. |

We get her to come along, thinking we're gonna let her play guitar, THEN we send her to the kitchen.

I'm only 12 months out.
I was there last Xmas.
My daughter lives there and works for EMI Records. As a surprise she organised a tour through Abbey Road Studios, awsome!!
Have a great trip, hope you can catch up with some of our English OFC friends.
Cheers AJ |

as i wrote in some other thread, late autumn is time of the year where shit happens for me, and in last few weeks i had a taste of it
result:
sold 3 guitars, keyboard and congos, and i think it's not over.
2 days ago my laptop broke (3 weeks after warranty period expired) and today i was "scared for fun" by my mother while having my Legend (last guitar) in my hands and i've hit edge of the table with top. Ofcourse it cracked... but it didn't affect sound.
i think it's going to be looong winter.
so - to get back to the topic - i'm not gonna make it. not this year. |

(neither of us have ever "been" . . .)
As in previous years, it ain't happening THIS one, either. I've got gigs & we both gotta' work.
Hoping to possibly make a flight over this coming Summer . . . |
