On my 1970 tie ons. D'addario Pro Arte 80/20 Bronze normal tension set EJ-47. I hate how he silver colored plating on copper windings comes off, these work well.

Hey Paul... it really helps with nylon strings to lock the strings at both the tuner and the bridge.... and stretch the string (hard pull) as you tighten them. The tuner lock is pretty much as with steel strings. But at the bridge, leaving enough length to insert the tail of one string into the loop/knot of the next string takes some thought and practice. A capo comes in handy to hold everything in place.... But it makes a huge difference in getting new nylons stretched/settled quicker.
