1. It is the most perfect temperature out today, 68, low humidity, enough breeze to keep away the bugs!
2. I got my new Spark Plug wires put on my Tractor today, (got it running this past week, this was the last thing to come in!) and have been tooling up and down the roads!!
3. MY NEW 12 String came in from 2 WheelDrummer and is GORGEOUS!!!!! I LOVE it!!!
This is like my Birthday, Halloween and Christmas all at once!!!!
There is nothing like it, when everything comes together at one time, and you can just enjoy the entire day!!!
THANK YOU 2 WheelDrummer!!!! |

Location: When?? | Game plan for the holiday weekend...
1. Drive a metal pole deep into the center of a 100' open space leaving 3' of the pole above ground.
2. Place a freely-rotating metal collar onto the pole.
3. Attach a 50' cable to the collar.
4. Attach the other end of the cable to the tractor.
5. Grab your new 12er, climb onto to the tractor and start it up.
6. Drop that baby into gear and let it go in circles while you ride along free-handed.
7. Drink bourbon, play the guitar and sing loudly until the tractor runs out of gas.
8. Refuel the tractor and repeat items 5-7 until fully satisfied.
Seems to me to be the obvious thing to do.

I was actually trying to figure out exactly how you could do that, until I realized it was with a Tractor LoF was talking about, and not a dog that he was tying to a pole!!!
Patch, I can honestly say, that that is one 'First Time a woman did that' thing that I would NOT be willing to shoot for! LOL!!!!! (I don't like bourbon... )

Location: When?? | Yeah, well, they say a warped mind is a terrible thing to waste. And speaking of warped, just make sure you attach the cable to the SIDE of the tractor and not the nose or tail because otherwise it might pull and bend the pole and cause the collar to fly off and create a Prudential moment on the neighboring property. And also feel free to substitute the bourbon for honey mead or whatever. Oh, and maybe monitor the throttle a little at first. You'll be okay.
PS: If that '55 640 is actually your tractor, then you are way, way cooler than I thought you were-- and that was already a pretty hard mark to top. |

He is mine, I bought him 2 years ago when my Family put the kabash on my getting a 4 wheeler. (Shorty after my first skydiving) I saw the picture, fell in Love, and my 11 year old nephew wrote up 2 pages of questions for me to ask the Seller, and then approved all the answers. I asked the Seller if he could deliver it (he was about 2 hours away), and when he brought Travis down the ramps from the trailer, he taught me how to drive it. I had never driven a Tractor, my Dad wouldn't let me drive his because the one time I tried, I popped the clutch, and up in the air it went... So in 10 minutes I was driving pretty good, and I never told my Family about him. Travis is in my barn with my neighbor's pulling Tractors, so they assume it is his! LOL!!!
I have found the way to live my own life is not to tell anyone what I am doing. That's why you all are so important to me, I can tell you, and you are happy with me!

Location: Germany, where delicious wine is growing (Rheinh) | Little John's are also available in Germany, but Travis looks like new. Never saw a Ford of this time period in Germany. What kind of engine ist build in? If you can find one, they are almost the blue Ford 3000. I've a little Tractor as well, a Holder AM2 from 1967, they are special for vineyards. I don't have any pictures of it but I've had refurbished it completely about 15 years ago and I'm still working with it in the fields. Maybe some finds a pic of one....
And for the guitar.....wonderful, enjoy it!!!

It is a 2.2L 4 speed, 4 Cylinder Gas Engine that puts out about 30 horsepower.

(The tractor under the Pictures Tab is Travis)
I just thought he was Cute! Ford did start going with the Blue & Grey, then all Blue as they went.
I believe the first Blue ones were Diesel, and the Grey & Red were Gas, but then they switched over to all Blue. I still like the Grey and Red the Best (Big Surprise! LOL!!) They are very similar to the Jubilee and 2/8/9N's, but I liked this one better! Small design differences, but important to me.
The man I bought him from had found it in an elderly neighbor's barn, all rusted and not working, and he and his Son worked on restoring it together as a Father/Son Project. Once I bought Travis, they were looking at an old, beat up Golden Jubilee to work on together! They were going to use Travis in a Parade, hence the Flags, and he was going to take them off before delivering him, but I Love them, and asked him to leave them on!
I would LOVE to see a picture of yours Bernie!!

Just teasing Nancy post as many tractor pics as u want I'm a gear head
I think I qualify now too ???, we replaced the carburetor, the sediment bowl, the fuel stop valve, the Coil, the Distributor cap, the rotor, the plugs, the plug wires, and changed the oil and filter. Runs like brand new, and I can totally take care of Travis by myself now!! The guy who rebuilt it used parts made for other models and jerry-rigged them, I decided to put the actual 640 parts back in, and it is firing on all 4 now, and humming right along! Also took off the blade on the back, I had left it on as a Wheelie Bar, just in case, but I think I am good enough now, not to need it!
Now all I need is a wildly flowered straw hat to go with my overalls, and white tennis shoes, and I will completely be the Crazy Old Lady at the End of the Road! LOL!!! |

And the 12 string?
INCREDIBLE!!! Absolutely Gorgeous! It is not as scary as I thought it was going to be, but it will still take more time to feel *comfortable* finger wise! But it is a Blast, and I love the enriched sound, next, I want to plug it in, and try it that way!!!! I am in LOVE!!!!! Being able to try all of these different types is really a blessing, and I love hearing the differences between the differnt models! |

My brother Pat has one of those, and still uses it all the time!!! He doesn't know that I have mine, but it would be fun to get them together! My younger brother, Don just bought the 8 cylinder version of the 640, so his is very close to mine (he knows about mine, he is not as judgemental as Pat), so when he gets it running, we are going to run them down the roads together!! LOL!!! He helped me work on mine, so I can help him work on his now!!! |

The Beautiful Headstock gracefully falling onto a soft, slender, long neck,
That graceful Neck joining onto a softly rounded, but firm Shoulder,
A trim and perfectly curved Waist rising onto a fully rounded Hip,
An eye popping Top, artistically drawing your full attention, and an anticipation, to see it up close and run your fingers over the beauty presented,
And a full, rounded Bottom, born to sit comfortably on your lap.
And of course, a full frontal, in her entire and ultimate Glory, just as she was made to be seen!
I wouldn't want to deprive you of your memories, and bring them to Life!

Thank you Mark!
I am surprised at the number of Bursts that I have now! I have always liked the Naturals, (Red is still Best!), but after seeing Damon's 1537 Burst, I fell in love! The Bursts and Naturals are almost equal in the Cave now!! LOL!!! |
