Location: atlanta | Hate to bump the thread, but I have been mildly surprised not to have had a response from Paul. Out of curiosity, I checked his profile and was shocked to see that his last login was five years ago. What am I missing here? Although I never met him in person, back in 2002 when I became an OFC member, he was immediately friendly and supportive to Kaki and me. Can anyone give me some news about him?

Not sure why the site isn't logging properly. |

Location: SoCal | David, I'm still here but life has pulled me in different directions (the Wabbit is spot on, but there are other things) that havepulled me away from the board.
Also, the board is populated by another generation of OFCers which is keeping it active and busy. My active time was over 10 years ago. The last OFC ggatheringat the factory was in the spring of 2007. Time moves on.
Scheduling won't let me see Kaki when she's in the area, but I appreciate the heads up. You are indeed, a proud pop...... |

This whole thread reminds me somewhat of Mark Twain:

Location: Burbank | I went to see the show in Santa Ana. Its a bit of a trek for me but it was worth it. Great show both visually and musically. Kakis playing was awesome and fun to watch. Adding the visual just makes it all bigger. If you get a chance go see it. It a good time and you have some laughs about a subject near and dear to all us nuts cases here on the board!
Thanks for letting us know Dave. |

Location: Colorado | Paul - out of fairness to you I have seen seen you play the progression of C, Cmaj7, C6, to Dm and G7. That is 5!

Location: Colorado | Paul - over in the other ethersphere, you asked about interest in a 1613, nope, my cousin wants an early 70s 1113, or 1116. He is a classical purist....and even thinking about an Ovation tugs at his inner being, that being said - those are the models he wants....in essence, deep bowl.zero electronics...widest neck. |
