Location: Australia | I was in Guitar Shop Paddington (Brisbane) yesterday and they had just received a deceased estate of a number of acoustic guitars.
There were a couple of Taylor's but also four old Ovations.
1. Adamas 1, early 80's with Charlie sig label (red)
2. Custom Legend ,early 80's cutaway (natural)
3. 1987 Collectors model white
4. Can't remember the model but it looked like a Balladeer 12 string with the single volume knob, probably late 70's? Sunburst
....all looked in good condition with Ovation cases
I believe the prices will be pretty keen as the family probably wants to move them pretty quickly.
Cheers, Richard

It's about time!
But if there's one you want Nancy, buy it and have them ship it to me. I'll look after it for you until you're in the neighbourhood.

It would be worth a trip to AussieLand just to meet you and the boys, not to mention seeing all the critters and birds, but the draw of a Bright Red Adamas I would be added incentive! LOL!!!!

If you were in Queensland or the Northern Territory, then shorts are fine, even in winter.
Where I live, no shorts unless you're tough or a kid. I'm neither.
My offer still stands to look after that Adamas for you until you make it here. |

I couldn't find anything on their website either. I emailed them and asked for the photo and details.

It's a cool little shop though, if you visit in person. |

Location: Cologne/Germany | Just asked them for a photo of the 87C, which I received immediately. It got the headstock, the bling, the 1987 inlay at 12th fret, but it is white, really white like an 1868. I have only seen 87C in Natural and in Black so far. If it was done after it left the factory, it was well made, the bling seems to be perfect. Asking 1299 AUS $, it seems a bit cheap...?! Don't know about its condition. Did not ask.p>
