I think that the HungaRicans are little more jovial than the ScandiCelts but those MediterAlians have better side dishes!
I'm stuck here with a bunch of Alaskaneese and LumberScotts drinking Tootonic brew.
Each day is a gift. |

I wish they would devote more time to the Hall of Fame Inductions.

I wanted t'catch that, but didn't.
I had HEARD that they might be "opening".
When they didn't, I A/B'd between that and "Kitchen Nightmares".
Being a bit of a "Food-ie", I took a foul-mouthed Brit ranking on a white-trash "restauranteur" over a bunch of whiney, cowboy hat-wearin' fopps "thankin' Jesus" ANY time . . .
EVERY time I went "back", the Eagles were "coming up next", . . . . but never did.
I finally lost patience & went over t'PBS (and the BBC) for the REAL "News". . . |

Sorry, Bill. Have you hit the double nickel yet? |

Location: SoCal | I can see it now...the swing, the sound of tree limbs breaking as the # 3 ball careens from limb to limb, then quiet.
Someone says "You probably won't find that one".
As Bill is silently computing how much the errant shot will cost him, he starts walking faster than the group, then suddenly says "Here it is", the ball lying on the 1st cut.
As his opponent says "That can't be yours", Bill looks at him and says "C'mon, you know I play # 7's, it must have bounced out."
Heck, beats the hole in the pocket to allow you to drop a ball.
At least, from what I heard - a former President who only used 6 or 9's would suddenly "find" his ball... |
