Hi all... probably a stupid question and I am guessing off the start it is a Nitro-Celluose type finish but I am really not sure and couldn't find out on the web. Anyone know for certain?

I know it's not nitro-celluose. The older O's had some kind of polymer resin which was thick and prone to the finish cracks we all have seen. I don't know what's used now but it's a lot thinner and probably still polymer based.

I'm pretty sure its polyurathane.
Its a hard finish.
Thus no pick guard needed.
Its not nitro-celluose
