Funny that I have not found this club until now. I have an Ovation Balladeer, 1121-4, SN: 000078, of which I am the original owner. Purchased the guitar back in 1973 in San Francisco. It has traveled with me to Central America and Europe as well as from east to west coast. It has survived well, but has had its problems. The bridge lifter off with a portion of the cap, which I fixed, although not too cosmetically well. Currently has a crack, which I believe to be the lacquer crack at the heel of the headstock. I am actually changing strings on it and getting ready to play it again after many years of allowing it to rest.

Nice.

I have a 1121-1 that has had a rough life.
It had it's headstock broken-off. But the previous owner fixed that.
But it is a surprisingly Good-sounding guitar. And quite loud too.
