Location: Simpsonville, SC | After failing to successfully win a bid on eBay for an Adamas 1685-5, I called Music Mike to cry on his shoulder a little. Mike, having just recieved two Adamas 12 stringers (and listening to me WHINE like a big baby), was ever so generous to offer one of them to me.
View Adamas 1685-5 comin to Simpleville here!
A heartfelt "THANK YOU" Music. I eagerly await it's arrival and will post pics of it with it's new "brothers-in black", the U681T (UTE), and the 1778-5LX.
And to think that my mother used to tell me that whining would get me nowhere...
Oh BTW, because the one-in-one-out policy applies here in Simpleville, I regret to announce that my lovely CL1658 will be going to Trader Jim upon his ariival here next month. She's a beaut Jimbo, sings like a canary.
As my new Tshirt says "LIFE IS GOOD"! :D ;) |

Can anyone tell me when SWMBO's birthday is? :o |

Location: Marlton, NJ | Jim - I didn't see this one. Very nice! If you got it from Mike, you know it's a well played, well loved guitar.
Congrats! We may not be the best players in Amelia in March, but we'll sure have some nice hardware! |

Location: Simpsonville, SC | The 1685-5 arrived today and man does she sing. Hard to compare her to the 1658 that is going to Trader Jim. Fuller maybe, not woody (obviously). Both are great sounding. The 1685 plays like butter, and booms! I am sure that it will be a fixed member of my small stable.
MusicMike, many, many thanks again brother!
Here's a pic of the U681T, 1685-5 and 1778-5LX. The Girls in Black!

Hairless cats named Jim all over the place! |
