| Dear Ovation Group:
Thanks for your Ovstion group. We hope to participate often.
I was writing with a question please.
How do we repair a bridge that has been pulled from the guitar top, due to overtightening of the strings.
A new to us 1112-2 guitar. The screws are still in place and attached but the bridge is pulled away 1/16". Minimal top finish damage.
We hope to be able to play and enjoy it at some point.
Thanks again for your group,
Pete

Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | Hi Pete, Hopefully a mod will be along soon enough to grant you access to the rest of the forum as only a few people can respond in this "Welcome" section. Once you are approved, re-post this question either in the "General" section (Which gets the most views but is largely populated by luthier-like-wannabes such as myself.) or in the "Bottom Feeder Luthiers Guild" section which is populated by people with the talent to give you viable opitons. Welcome aboard and I hope you hang around after the guitar is fixed. |
