My buddies and I ("The B-Sides") played our first gig outside the basement a few weeks ago and I think it went pretty well. It was at a Chowdahfest in Massachusetts, and we did it as a favor for a friend. Decent sized crowd, about 20 different resturants participated, and it was all for Charity. No Os and As for the day, as the setlist was mostly some heavier rockin stuff.
I'm playing the tan G&L just to the left of the drummer:

Thanks All!
Looks like a couple people at the event have inquired about the band for some bar bookings in MA and NH over the next few months. Now to figure out how to break to the wife that I'm getting back into regular gigs.

Looks like you could use a Viper, UKII and even a Preacher and a Magnum. But it sounds pretty good as is, just responding to "was mostly some heavier rockin stuff." Nice gig.

Do it like Matt "Guitar" Murphy
Yup... that oughta "break" it alright.
Haha! Love that flick...
Unfortunately the verbal and physical beat down I would receive if I talked to her like that would be epic and would require me to learn how to play the guitar with 10 finger splints. Mama don't take no mess!
