mahalo, bill! good news is, there ain't nuthin' wrong with it but a few tiny dings and a bit of invisible overspray. sounds most excellent. here i was jonesin' real bad for a martin hd-28 but i believe this guitar sounds every bit as good and probably a bit brighter cuz of the mahogany. it is very easy to play and is as light as a three and 1/2 pound feather.

There are alot of you folks getting Takky lately.

No Pre-Amp? Just hot-wired from pick-up to plug, huh?

Looks like a good deal. (stole it!)

One of the posts on the Tak Forum said for you to put a capo over the used stamp...
Alittle wood putty and paint and it's gone!

These have pre-amps, it's buried inside inder the fretboard extension. It just doesn't have any onboard controls. You can plug straight into an amp or soundboard, just like you would with an Ovation. In fact the setup is identical to the Ovation FD14 electronics. Maybe I'm biasd but I think the plugged in sound is wonderful. Dave
