Sound port on Ovations

javaman Posted 2015-10-27 9:53 PM (#516798) Subject: Sound port on Ovations Joined: January 2007 Posts: 137 Location: Massachusetts This morning I noticed that if you open the battery ompartment for the preamp you have a sound port effect they adds a little volume while you're playing acoustically without the battery installed. I've played some guitars with a larger port and it helps you hear your acoustic a little better. I was just curious if it would react the same and it does give a bit more sound to the player. Just open the battery door w/o the battery installed.
