This song happened to come up on my car stereo first thing on the way in this morning. I have a hard drive with at least 2000 songs on it, so it was quite an appropriate coincidence, being the day after Glen died. Maybe the computer is more intelligent than I thought.

Not necessarily a computer. It could be an analog ghost, too. I once visited the mobile traveling version of the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial wall.. cold foggy morning at dawn in a local park, there all alone with it, paid respects to two very close friends on it. Got into the car to leave, and perfectly waiting on the cassette deck with no planing whatsoever of my own doing began "Funeral For a Friend".. which we all know transitions to "Love Lies Bleeding". I was bawling before I got to the exit gate. Your experience this morning is just as spontaneously great. Glad it happened for you and thanks for telling about it.

I was being facetious about computer intelligence. My current car is a 2013 and there are so many sensors and things that they could tell us if we knew how to communicate, that it's overwhelming to me. After having the car a few weeks I discovered it had "Jukebox", which will hold about 40 gigs of music on the hard drive and play it back in various formats. I have it a little over half full with almost all the music I have and generally leave it on "random" for all the tracks on the drive. I'm a bit suspicious of how random it is, because I seem to hear songs of similar genres, by similar artists or sometimes from the same album, during the same half hour commute. This morning's selection was almost perfect. There was part of a Neil Diamond song that hadn't quite finished when I turned the car off last night and then Remembering came on.
If I can figure out how to do it, I might listen to everything I have by Glen the next few days.

I know... that's why I called it a ghost. 40 gig? Geeze, that could get you across the country and back. Maybe there is a keypad feature where you can cue it to play anything with "Glen" in the file name in succession. Mine has that, but it takes a lot of button pushing to get it there since it doesn't have voice command.. but maybe yours does. Or, then again, maybe Glen himself will "ghost" them in order for you tonight while you sleep and have them ready tomorrow when you fire it up :-)
